I’ve always believed that a brand is more than a logo or a tagline, it’s a feeling that can spark meaningful change. Not just in a business, but how we relate to people, places, and the planet.

That belief is what led me to start EightySeven, the studio I founded to help ambitious leaders and teams turn vision into the velocity that creates a lasting impact.

My journey began in the world of advertising, where I cut my teeth as an Art Director crafting campaigns for brands like Moen and Citibank, but most importantly, new business pitches.

I learned how powerful design and storytelling could be when done with intention. I also saw how often brands missed the opportunity to connect on a deeper level.

EightySeven was born from a desire to close that gap. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of leading a team that builds brands designed to resonate, inspire, and endure. Our work has been recognized with awards from AIGA, CreativeBoom, the Davey Awards, and more. But the real reward is seeing our clients thrive with brands that feel like an authentic extension of who they are.

Beyond studio work, I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned. I’ve mentored creative entrepreneurs through AIGA, taught branding and design at Columbia College Chicago, and led cohorts at Chicago Portfolio School. Teaching keeps me curious, sharp, and connected to the next generation of creative leaders.

At the heart of it all, my approach is simple: lead with empathy, stay relentlessly curious, and use creativity as a catalyst for growth. That’s the spark I bring to every project, every client, and every story we help bring to life.

Beyond design and teaching, I’m a Star Wars kid, House music lover, and a big fan of all things Autumn. I love traveling and casually taking photos on adventures with my wife.
